Bid Calculators

The bid calculators are preliminary tools to help prospective bidders understand how a bid for the lead item impacts the rest of the items (non-lead items) in the product category and how those SPAs would compare to current Medicare rates. Video Tutorials

A series of video tutorials discussing the major changes coming to the Medicare DMEPOS Competitive Bidding program this year, are now available. Cara Bachenheimer, Head of Government Affairs at Brown & Fortunato narrates three short videos explaining Lead Item Pricing, Maximum Winning Bid, and the Higher Bid Ceiling. And Mark Higley from the VGM Group discusses the bid surety bond and how it will impact the next round.
